Fire in Ossy

Maybe not on Hawthorne, police just gone down the road and went past Hawthorne so could be Fielding lane area or somewhere in between
 
Quick, take your laptop and webcam down to Mcd's. Bet you a fiver there's no smoke without fire :)
 
Just been informed it's the former shopfitters site in Rhyddings street, looks like Hawthorne area from here

I'll find out tomorrow when I take the kids to school - whichever building is still standing means that it's the other one that was burnt. :D

from what i have heard the propperty belongs to tony dobson, if it is this is the last thing he needs right now with the charity accustions etc i just hope hes got good insurance
 
It used to be owned by a bloke from Verginia Waters in London, but can't remmber his name, TD ex-business partner, used to run the site, but I'm going back about 10 years now
 
i dont know what was been stored in the building but the firebrigade were backing people away because of fear of an explosion,luckily they got it under control pretty quick but i think a few people will be claiming for smoke damage especialy the ones that have just had their houses sandblasted
 
The blaze took hold on the ground floor of the building off Stonebridge Lane, Oswaldtwistle, at around 8.20pm last night.

Six fire engines were called to the scene and firefighters were battling the blaze for hours after tyres within caught fire.


which factory has tyres in it?
