I didn't know who you were talking about, until I did as you suggested, and read through your recent posts.

Things do get heated on here.

Politics, religion...sport.

Though suprisingly the biggest bitchfest always happens in local history threads.

Take no heed.

Your opinion is as valid as anyone else's on here.

In 'real life' the person concerned is an intelligent, helpful, gentleman.

Plus, he's never had a go at me...so far.

Thank you David. I was always taught to be polite to my elders but it doesn't seem to work the other way with this person. When one of them comes out with comments like I have had, I have to respond even though I try restraint.

By the way hope the docs have managed to sort you out and you are beginning to feel better.

Less doesn't bully -just mauls from time to time. Lucky you, getting an apology when he hadn't even done anything -print it off and frame it -I would if i was you!:D

Keep posting your deep and meaningful posts - i always get where you're coming from -some people have no sense of humour unfortunately.:)

In all honesty, I see you online quite often, and am disappointed you've posted so little recently.

Whenever I'm told to shut it, I know I'm doing something right, so up my game, and say more.

We expect the same from you now.

No as I pointed out earlier it's usually the females who get the stick - which is a real bully boy tactic, having a pop at the so called weaker sex... :rolleyes:

I've been closeted on the local history threads with Phil... sounds cosy!

Otherwise doing research for said threads... and haven't seen many other threads which interest me.

Have just started my daily trips to Preston for the next five weeks... so that will take up some of my time.

Deep and meaningful eh Di?? Actually the post that Mr X objected to was quite light hearted though certainly not meaningless.

So far with me Less has been a pussy cat - perhaps he knows I am a cat lover. He'll start purring soon...;)

As with the majority of my posts, the above was typed whilst I wore a wry smile, I have to be very careful with my smiley faces, surely like a multi produced photo copy, they become meaningless the more often they are used?

(can you imagine me stood in front of you in real life, I just insult you then say, big smiley face and that makes everything alright?).

On the few occasions we've met, you always have your loved one with you to buy your pint, I wouldn't wish to deprive him of any of his privileges.
