i know this is not strictly you area of expertise but you have been able to help me in the past so i was hoping you may be able to do so again, Thomas Mcloughlin from Blackburn, 18780 of the 2nd East Lancs KIA 31st July 1917 , the death record says 17 years old but his birth was in 1898 making him 19 , it appears his service records were destoyed and i cannot find his medal index card on ancestry , i'd lke to know when/ where he joined as he would have been too young to join at the outbreak of War and in November 1914 when his regiment first landed and more about how/where he died
