    ' SPOT THE BOIL '.. Ooooooops !
    Hi Stan !

Thanks for your Messenger pm .. I totally agree with your sentiments and further developments on the Lancs Cup thread underline what a thoughtless blister he can be !
I have a feeling that the instances where family influences can be noted in some posts does tend to irritate other users !.. I may be wrong though !.
I'll look out for you on Saturday ... that'll be me keeping a weather eye out for you-know-who and keeping a very low profile if I spot him !.
Til then, take good care of yourself.
Hello Stan, some time since we spoke. Thought about you today because I went for lunch in the Duckworth Hall Inn.lovely place but can't seem to find any history of the place. Could you suggest sheer I might look ( Google useless)
    Dear Stan,
Hope you don't mind, but I sent that lovely photo of Immanuel school to a lady who has a stall in Accy market ( a sort of Accy museum) and who was looking for old school photos.
    Hope you are keeping well
If you went to the Grammar in 1954 you must be about the same age as my brother-Mick Ware, He went to the Tech and still lives in Ossie.
Yes I remember the Britannia pub, in fact I think I can remember most of the pubs in Ossie!
My mum and Dad weren't pub goers they preferred the James St. Club, and I sometimes went there when I was older
New Lane School! used to go round the back of it to get to the Tennis courts(played doubles with a lad called Rodney Hulme.
I can't put a face to your name probably because I went to Paddock House from being 3 ans we were warned not to get too near protestant boys( can you believe it?)
Funny thing was , my mum was a protestant and Michael(my half brother, was brought up as a Methodist. When the nuns found out they used to say special prayers for me and my dad!!!
    Sign of now,
    keep in touch
Remind me about Duckworth Hall, it's very familiar but the old brain cells are what they used to be.
Which school did you go to?
Don't know who you are 'Old Gobbin' but you can certainly be on my friends list.
Only just found your name so please excuse delay
