Comments from James Gray in the Telegraph

OUT of contract Accrington Stanley striker James Gray admits he would love to stay at the Store First Stadium after finishing the League Two campaign with three golals in two games.

The Northern Ireland Under 21 international netted twice in the final day win over AFC Wimbledon on Saturday and must now wait and see if his late-season form will be enough to see Reds boss James Beattie offer him a deal.

But Gray, who finished the campaign with seven goals, admits he is keen to stay put.

He said: “I would love to stay here. We will have to see what the gaffer says. As long as I keep playing well hopefully I can earn a new contract whether it be here or somewhere else.

“I love the club and the fans and everyone is close knit. I am thankful for what Accrington have done for me so far.”

Do I risk the wrath of Mr Jewell and say I rarely watch the videos on the fishy site

I've heard it will be later in the month. Makes no odds they still have to be paid

Surely it can only be a matter of time before Davo's on here demanding the return of Peter Cavanagh.

Anyone else heard that Bournemouth have enquired about Tom Aldred?

Anyone else heard that Bournemouth have enquired about Tom Aldred?

There are 4 or 5 clubs in for him mate aparently.

Will be a HUGE loss but if he does go will be nice fee for the coffers for once

[football19]

Really think Tom should give it another season with Acci and get another 50/60 games under his belt.
Before coming here,he was a lad with potential but not playing many games.
Now he is realizing his potential by playing ever week, give him another 12 months of polishing, and hopefully gets his move up the ladder, good lad, great attitude.
He only needs to look at Kevin Long, same type of player, but a bench warmer and not really playing(although his bank balance is probably ok )
