It's come! It's come......my new camera.......aaah it is only a baby of a thing.....tiny, fits in the palm of my hand.
It has lots of buttons and I am still exploring its capabilities.
What I do know though is that the pictures are HUGE, and I must make a mental note to remember to reduce their size before I try to send any off to anyone, or post them on here.
The LCD screen is a lot bigger, and there are far more shooting modes. Face recognition too. I think I am going to have to consult the destructions to make good use of this little thing.....it only weighs 160 grams.....without batteries. Blooming heck it would blow away in this wind.
Drawbacks - well, I am slightly perturbed that the camera uses AA batteries rather than Li-ion battery packs.....I can see it running away with batteries. Good job I have a plentiful supply of the good rechargeable ones. Maybe they have worked out a way of making the batteries last longer.
I couldn't think of anything to test out the camera....and then Gizmo sat in front of me....so he got snapped.
See what you think.
