Well im recovering bit by bit. Am sat here watching the last night of the proms. I used to sit and watch it with my mum every year and i've carried on with watching it. Its only the last night that she used to watch. It would be an experience to go to the last night - down at the albert hall, not to the park ones that they have now.
Anyway what have i done - not much this week seeing as ive been recovering. It is hard typing this - my little finger is hurting - so a's etc are hurting my finger!!!
Tidied up the house after spug had gone home. No rain today so i've done a little bit of weeding on the front, have to wait for it all to dry out before i can attack it properly. Pulled out the lettuces that were left in the pot ... they'd overgrown so werent eatable, but what do i do about my tomatoes? Theres plenty on my tomato plants ....... but theyre green!!!! No sun to turn them red. We'll see what happens in the next few days.
Got caught reading margarets old blogs .... i do enjoy reading them - theyre like a diary and so its just bits and pieces of what it was like. I know when i re read mine - i think i dont remember that. You forget what you've put.
I have been winding dear spuggie up though.... He went back up the road and on friday i sent him a care package ..... of stuff he forgot to take back with him. Accy observer, rossendale free press, evening telegraph, some sweeties he forgot, and i sent some sweets up for his daughter, a pen he left on my fireplace, all in all it cost more for the postage £4.30 than what it cost for the stuff in it!!!!
