My first day back at Uni yesterday turned out to be only slightly more interesting than I predicted. That is down to having a new tutor for this most boring module, who God love her, tried her best to make it interesting.... I had still lost the will to live by lunchtime though.
Sparky went to Italy yesterday, he has landed safely and was getting some beer in at his accommodation last night when he contacted me. Not too much beer though due to an early start today.....
Went to visit Grego last night and to see my niece Ellie who is 3. She was in fine voice last night and I got a couple of choruses of Baa Baa Black Sheep, Twinkle Twinkle and the all time kiddy classic........ Amarillo. She makes me laugh does Ellie. She's an intelligent little thing with a great vocabulary for her age and she doesn't miss a trick.
I find it fascinating how little kids will learn so quickly to tell fibs about something which they think might be embarrassing or get them in trouble. When she was about 18 months old, she would fart... When asked "did you do that?" she would innocently just say "yes."
Last night was a totally different scenario when she produced an absolute ripper....... and tried to blame her mum. I laughed all the way home. Grief!!! They learn so quickly.
