Accy Carnival float

no volunteers at all for the Fraser suit. Not even sure if we could still get it now as I think the usual wearer is now on holiday. Pendle, 9:30 is fine if you wanna come down and join us and the more balloons the better, even if they are not plain. As far as work wear is concerned its not essential just our little bit at trying to prove the cross section of society that watches the Reds.

I cant wear my works uniform i'd be told off by the boss if i got caught wearing it outside of work. So i'll be there in my usual clothes jeans and tshirt and trainers

No thats not us sorry. We couldn't get anything ready in time for this carnival due to other commitments and the fact that more than half of our squad are not around due to holidays and stuff. We already have plans in place for the next one though!!! Just too early in our life cycle to do it this time, we aren't even a year old yet!!!

I however will be manning (? womanning?) the OSC Stall on the field with Uk Cowboy, Harwood Red and Accy Mad amongst others and we will be doing special deals on some of the brand new merchandise, such as buy 1 t-shirt for £8, then buy a second identical t-shirt for £8 aswell, and stuff like that!!!!:D See you all saturday!!!

Can anyone tell me what time I ought to be at the stall on the field? There is a chance that I could come to Accrington on Saturday and I'll be pleased to help if I can get there.

As far as I know we haven't got a definate time yet but I'm sure even if you can't get there for the start it won't matter as I reckon some of us may be glad to be relieved at some point.

Myself and Uk Cowboy will probably be down there from 9.30 ish but we awaiting confirmation of time from macca.

OK. Thanks for that. I do hope to be there and meet you on Saturday, and put faces to names. I may even have a few calendars to sell!!!

PLEASE NOTE

Assembly point is Globe centre car park
Scaitcliffe st will be closed to traffic though so you will have to gain access to the car park by using Brown St and Richmond St

Does that mean two identical t-shirts for £8 (two for £8 instead of £8 each)? :confused:Confusing myself now!! clever sales pitch whichever!!:)

My lad who is "4ft 9" would be willing to don the Fraser the Eagle Costume but I fear he may be too small? Struggling on the Red Balloons but will keep trying, Is there anything else needed for the float?

pendle ask some local companies i know interlink express have supplied a few before today.

i will help out were needed

Might be a bit late but try ebay for balloons - I bought loads of pink ones for my party and there were only a couple of pounds.
