A super speedy phone line? I remember switching over to a higher baud for connecting to a computer. It's all a very vague and woolly dim and distant memory now. Feels like a different lifetime.

I'm with Maxwell here, haven't got a clue what the majority of acronyms means and that includes the common ones as well. So i'm finding this thread very informative.
