Yes, that’s right, Acrylic-bob is back. Thank you for all the kind comments and solicitous posts, it is nice to know that one is missed.
The reason for my enforced absence is that I was moving house, home, lock, stock and baggage to a new address. Not for me any longer the rarefied air of Huncoat and its gentle residents - no, it’s pastures new for me and Acrylic-Biff, the terrier with attitude. Along the way, we seem to have Picked up a new addition to the Acrylic household in the shape of Acrylic-Toby, The Sybaritic Spaniel, who likes being rubbed up the wrong way - well I suppose it takes all sorts! There will be a photo of the new addition as soon as I can remember which box I put the camera in.
I’m not going to tell you where I have moved to just yet because there may be some competition mileage in that little secret. Suffice it to say that we are all still in the borough, happy and in one piece and miraculously nothing has been broken.
I’m really looking forward to getting out the flaying knives again.

Just curious .. you state occupation as 'painter' .. this our Van Gough of Accy or can I get you to come and cover-up my nicotine-stained lounge at reasonable rates ???

Nice to have you back A-B, you've been missed. A few johnny go-lightlys have tried to take your place but they just weren't up to the job.

Nice to have you back.:)

Notice how I kept your secret that you'd moved next door to me?;)

Please shut that bloody Spaniel up!

Have you been somewhere?

Yes unlike you, Acidic-babs goes about his business quietly. Like the time you sent me a threatening pm, warning me not to post that you were going on holiday, afraid that burglars would see it as an open invitation to rob you.

Little did you know that your dear wife had already blogged the details of your three weeks in the winter sun, and how your poor children were dragged screaming from school to spend time on the beach.:D

Welcome back A-B, hope the house move doesn't unsettle you all too much. At least I can log on and have something to read in the mornings now.:D

I must admit. I was worried. I thought A-B had fallen into one of his cake-making machines and was now for sale all along the Golden Mile in the form of a strawberry gateaux.

welcome back a-b. glad the house move went ok .....hope you enjoy your new home & surroundings....

Your house move obviously went smoothly - you've found the computer at least! Four years on, and we still have boxes we haven't unpacked yet. Welcome back.
