I am still working on my brush lettering...my calligraphy.
I practice most days for about an hour.
I think I have made improvements and my writing now 'flows'.
I was asked to make a Thank You card for my next door neighbours son to give to the nurses who have looked after his dad.....and for the first time I was brave enough to use this writing on the card....as a main feature no less....so while this skill still requires a bit of Dura-glit....I feel more confident in using it in my cards.
I should add that this kind of lettering does not require all the letters to be of uniform size...or even the same font.
So here is a sample.
The pink writing is tonight's practice.....and I have put a picture of the card on here too.
