Another Gem

I don't use salt either

But if I did then I would just shake the pot more times, so whats the point

Just another waste of money

lol.... thats fair enough... you like it so you use it.... its the ones that say "i would cut down but i cant eat with out it "

less="I would cut down but I can't eat without it. "

Well now, can anyone see the difference?

Notice the capital I's and the extra punctuation marks? Oh! and karma for the other difference when spotted.

That's because salt helps to keep the brain active!
:p

The number of holes is totally irrelevant. As Katex said most people's salt pots at home have only the one hole anyway. You shake it enough times to get the required amount out. It's nothing to do with how many holes you have. It's got to be a wind up.

These are salt cellars in the public domain Willow, places like Chippies, Cafes ect, not the ones a home

I just type what I have to say.............I know how to punctuate....and the proper use of capitals.... I just choose not to.......

Yes I know - but the point I'm making is that if we at home can manage to get enough salt out of one hole then reducing the number of holes in the chip shop isn't going to make a ha'porth of difference. Even if they reduced it to just one hole like we have at home we would still be able to put enough salt on.

Use more salt ... it helps cover up the taste of mercury and other toxic elements in the fish ... or put a dish of the stuff on the counter and use the old fashioned "pinch of salt method."

it was only last week when they said the EU were scapping the system where bannanas etc had to be a certain size or shape and then they pull this out of the hat

less holes in the salt cellar will only make it more difficult to ensure all your chips get salt on them so it could actualy mean people putting more salt on then ever and arnt the EU aware that we put dry peas in the salt cellar to stop too much salt escaping
The dried pea is used to soak up the condensation and keep the salt dry.Not to bung up the holes so it won't come out:rolleyes:

Well I realise that Willow, but doesn't this show up this crack pot idea altoether, it appears that people who think these thing up need to get a proper job

What has the number of holes in the salt celler got to do with the price of fish? its stupid, who ever came up with that idia needs his or her head looking at someone call the loony bin.

I hear you guys have a fine big loony bin in Westminster, a lot like the one the Americans have on the Potomac. Canadian loonies are worth a dollar, and you can exchange them for beer, and forget all about this political BS.:)
