Just done another stretch of 7 nights and I must say that I have got quite into it. I have been sleeping much better and the week has flown. I am ready for my days off though. I have a lot to look forward to this week. I am going to Amsterdam in the morning with Angie for our girlie weekend away. I am not relishing the thought of getting up at 04.30 tomorrow, but at least I'm getting up to go away and not to go to work.
One of the topics that we have discussed about our impending trip is 'do we or don't we eat the cake????????' We can't decide.....on the one hand we have a 'when in Rome' attitude but on the other hand neither of us wants to be so stoned that we can't remember the weekend or are unable to enjoy ourselves due to being hashed. We'll probably decide when we get there..
I am looking forward to it though, I've never been to Amsterdam and have heard that hen and stag dos aside, it's a lovely city.
Sparks is now back from France so we may get a meal out tonight. I haven't packed yet, but it will only take me a few minutes. I could probably take what I need for 2 nights in a carrier bag. The downside to going away is that I probably won't get much dissertation done this week, but I'm not too worried about that yet. Anyway, must dash........ I can't remember where I've put my passport..
