I am always amazed to find people read my journal and find it entertaining/interesting/funny/or even worth a read.
Thanks to H.R. Garinda and Lettie for your kind comments.

Lettie, I have to say that you looked polished, trim and attractive...so keep polishing the window frames.

H.R. - yes I do seem to keep fairly busy. It isn't quite what I had in mind when I retired, but sometimes life makes decisions for you and you have to sort of 'Go with the flow'

Garinda - I am not the stereotypical Gword........and that is good because as you know I had never planned to do this. It certainly didn't figure in my 'Things to do before I die' list. Having said that, I plan to make the best job I can of it....and I DO hope the lad remembers with some fondness the times we spend together.......and I just can't imagine him as a teenager...though I know it will come pretty quickly. We only really have one anklebiter now....that is the baby girl......he is the tiny tornado...and on odd times he is the tiny terror.
Anyway I hope that he will look after me when I get old and doddery.....maybe he will, maybe he won't....we'll just have to wait and see.

The good news is that......... the beetroot stain came out of my pants !

I was in town again today, and bumped into Mick....I felt a bit better because at least i had had time to wash my hair this morning.
I cannot believe all the rigamarole that Mick is having to put up with to get his surgery sorted out........wouldn't you think he could have his tests done locally to save him the hassle of travelling to Blackpool?

My daughter is having someone else round to look at her house tomorrow so I suppose we will have the tornado....and the dog over to our place again......still I had a good sleep last night and I haven't done much today.
I am conserving my energy for tomorrow
