Does anyone remember Granny Bear a native of Accrington!! You couldnt of missed her coz she was fairly hairy hence the name bear!!

That's real sad. Having said that, once saw a programme about men who had a fettish about women with lots of hair, so she might be the cat's whiskers today.;)
 
No, no, no !! ... please do not misundestand me (blushes) .. was just pointing out that ideas about peoples excesses change .. am I digging myself deeper I wonder?? Don't want to get thrown off this site after only 24 hours .. doing a Catherine Tate again methinks ... you know, the ones where she drops a clanger and tries to riggle out of it.

Sorry, to disrupt your thread Marrboy, but, no, have not heard of this lady, must have been quite a celebrity. I wonder if she enjoyed this status or was unhappy with her appearance ?
