Autumn.

The first of September. Summer's on it's last breath, and I hate it. My sweetpeas were in full flower last week, now they are battered and brown and dead.

Some people like Autumn and Winter, cosy nights in front of the fire, stuff that I like the sunshine.

I think I wrote in a thread that I think I should live somewhere with an all year round constanly sunny climate. I don't think I suffer from S.A.D., it's just that sunshine does make you feel better.

All that darkness, when it's only light for about six hours a day in mid Winter.

Ok, moan over.

Spring has the opposite effect on me, and I get so giddy looking forward to the Summer that it's like a drug, so perhaps living in a climate with seasons does have some advantages.:)

I love the colours of Autumn and the last "blousiness" of the flowers - but I hate walking into cobwebs everywhere, dew all over everything early in the morning, spiders coming in to settle for the Winter and dark evenings.

I also love spring, every year it gives the hope of a long sunny summer. I do love the colours of Autumn though but hate the nights getting darker earlier every night

Can't abide Winter and am definitely SAD. I wasn't meant to live in a cold climate....
