I'm back to work today after 3 glorious days off. I really don't want to go as I've loads to do at home. I have no idea when I'll get time to take the Christmas decorations down or tackle the pile of ironing that has mounted up in my back bedroom. I have done very little in the way of housework over the last 3 days, instead, I chose to enjoy myself, but am regretting it now.
Sparks goes back to France today, we have no idea how long he'll be there for but he is going to try to come and see me briefly before I go to work. I'll miss him like mad, it's been brilliant having him around for Christmas but I have a little bit of leave left over so we will try to get a few days away at the beginning of March.
I have had an e mail from Uni telling me that my new tutor for my dissertation will be a man called Jason whom I've never met. He has experience in working with HIV, so I've e mailed him to introduce myself and hopefully he will be able to give me a few pointers. The dissertation has to be in by 31st July. It sounds like a long way away but I know that it will come round quickly and I will be panicking like mad when it gets to the beginning of July and I'm still only half way through it. I have to do 10,000 words which doesn't sound like much, but with the abstract, dedications and all of the references, most people's dissertations are nearer to 15,000 words than 10,000.
Well, I suppose I'd better get off my bum and get cracking...(pardon the pun)
