Just a post script re: Sunday's debacle.

Had a ship to shore telephone call this morning from that awful German cow Frauline Showup. She was meant to get the ferry from Harwich to the Hook of Holland, and the train from there back to Hamburg and Cafe Schmitzy.

Trust that silly Teutonic ho, she missed her ferry and spent the night in a cafe, dockside. Next thing l know, Jane MacDonald's gone down with something nasty downstairs, so Madame pipes up she's a performer!. She's doing a 14 week round Baltic cruise performing twice nightly with Tuesday's off.

Good luck to her l wish her well [sort of.] But the day she darkens my door again will be a very dark day indeed. :(

Sleep didn't arrive at all last night, hence l feel awful. l was so tired last night and was in bed by about midnight. As soon as l got into bed the drugs kicked in and l was wide awake all night. l can't go on like this, Mum say's she phoning Tidswell, the 'specialist,' as l'm not due to see him again until October. Either they change the drugs, or l get sleeping tablets that will work in in conjunction with this little cocktail l'm already on.

Had lunch with Mum, she drove as l felt awful. Did a bit of shopping in Accy, things we needed. Bought wallpaper for Ma, as she has the decorator starting next week. Shuffled around town but didn't stay long.

Mood? Quite difficult to explain. Phsically l'm aching from head to toe, but l feel ok in my head, and quite happy. :)

Off to clean out the fridge.

Last bit of German sausage and saurkraut about to be binned! ;)

At least the drugs haven't stolen your sense of humour... even if they have left you uncomfortably numb.

You were a STAR turn Garinda. Young Melissa was in stitches. Never mind the drugs, get a couple of stiff whiskies down your neck and you will be as good as new.

Gary.......I wasn't there, so I can only imagine.......but you Know what my imagination is like.
Anyway I P'd myself laughing at your journal today.......except the bit that says you feel awful.
What you really need is a warm bath and a rub down with lavender oil.
