A nerve-racking 3 points in the bag but we can't keep relying on Moly alone. I took my son in law from Sheffield for one of his occasional Stanley games and was singing the praises of our own Gareth Bale on the walk up through Clayton. Boy, did he deliver! We saw the best and worst of Stanley today - great attacking pressure and spirit, but then our age old fault of panicky defensive play when teams put us under pressure. We just couldn't keep possession well enough in the second half to build from the back, relying instead on "anywhere will do" with the result we were a bit fortunate to see the game out. I think we really, really need to work on this aspect of our play if we are to manage enough wins to survive in this league. It's going to be a hairy ride!
Thought Rab had his best game for us today, and Jeffers was much improved from Tuesday.
Great result for us today...simply put...3 POINTS!!! Superb hatrick for Moly.... I disagree with the notion that his first goal was a "bit scruffy". I was behind the goal in the Clayton end right behind the right hand post. He "passed" his shot into the bottom corner superbly with a good degree of swerve on it too!
Their keeper had no chance with it! Second was another hammered shot
..simply unstoppable
...Third was a penalty taken with great confidence.
Well done Moly, more please on Tuesday!
The soft goal we let in on half time was a turning point and we need to stop this kind of lapse from occuring! As others have said, the response to Leam's call for a FIGHT was definitely taken on board. The players were up for it and so too were our fans. Special mention to the Ultras for restoring the colour and passion to the Clayton End.
We sang for the whole 90 odd minutes and also enjoyed the company of our Norwegian contingent.

Last Tuesday I saw one of the worst ever performances by a football team. Yesterday I saw Barnet win 1-0 and play Stanley off the park. Maybe I better stay at home on Tuesday![]()

Or get there in time for kick-off?![]()
I endured the full 90 minutes last week !!

The guy on loan from Rotherham, one of our more consistent performers, was taken off injured,to be replaced by Murphy, A guy yeh never mentioned in yer summary, Mind yeh may not have noticed him as he aint scouse.nicky hunt?

Hope the guys fit, seems unlikely wi a sodding hamstring though.hamstring injury, assess in the morning

Somebody did say to me after game, ref had sent wrong man off? Couldn't say yeh or nay from our place on Clayton End?So Barnet are appealing for Edgar Davids sending off to rescinded due to “mistaken identity”
Really ???
