:) its gona happen sooner rarther than later ,last wks win hopefully is the spring board for stanleys first away win of the seasin.. its a tough job with the Bees on a 15 game undefeated run :)

Well taken goal, ran onto a through ball and a gentle lob over their keeper. We have been well pinned back since. Barnet are a decent side going forward.

Football is hard enough without having to play against 12 men!
A ludicrous 19 fouls awarded against Stanley, including 6 yellow cards & a red, against a mere 9 fouls & no cards for Barnet.
An aptly named ref for someone with a 'hair trigger'

The really unjust thing about Devon's red was that the first yellow was given after a Barnet player kicked the ball against him before he had time to retreat after the award of a free kick. The Barnet players then swarmed the referee after Devon's second foul insisting that he be sent off. Not an edifying spectacle at any level of football.

Charlie took his goal well, and Catesby caught the eye when he came on, but otherwise a disappointing game. Borland used the ball well when he had it, unfortunately he hardly ever had it. Same with Liam. The game more or less bypassed our centre-mid pair.

Poor refereeing today for sure. Although my opinion means nowt. Abysmal behaviour by the Bees players to get Devon sent off....but a two footed tackle anywhere on the pitch including the half-way line is probably a yellow card.....anyone got a different view of the tackle? On screen its hard to see exactly what happened..........we're playing better, still only in parts of games, let's hope we continue to improve.......I think CC needs a longer contract....

First yellow for Devon was pathetic from the ref. Second was probably deserved but it wasn?t two footed. He jumped on the back of the Barnet player as the latter ducked, making it look worse than it was. Do we have previous with Hair, his name rings a bell for some reason?

Was there even a free kick awarded? My memory is that it was in the goalkeepers hands, and he was trying to get rid of it quickly, and I was thinking, are you not allowed to try to stop that? But I may be mistaken. The second was certainly no two-footed lunge and I don’t think it was much in it.

I've re-watched it again and I don't know why Devon got anything for the first challenge and I'm not sure wherexa got the two footed challenge from....must be another player in another match and my "little grey cells" not working. The second challenge by Devon could easily have been no card in my opinion......lis more of a big player and smaller player situation...
