Bin Strike

It seems UNISON are celebrating depriving children of an education by closing schools, closing nurseries and services for the disabled..

UNISON the public service union

pay them propper then , iv heard about this on the radio today and people were saying everone is struggleing and getting rubbish payrises

good for them for striking to get what they want and 1 day off school is not depriving a child of an education you little drama queen you:rolleyes:

Conservative Bernie- means conserve fer oneself. a tory MP once told me that.
Looking that way:rolleyes: By the way Andrew my sister is on of the people who was on strike, she is a nursery nurse and I can assure you she is one of the most decent people you could ever wish to meet. She certainly is not celebrating about the children missing nursery but she like others expects a decent standard of living and taking a cut in wages when prices are rising as they are is not conducive to that end!!!!

So you think they should take a cut in their pay when all their basic living expenses are on the up?? I certainly don't!!!

If one thing is clear, people don't want increased council tax, or fewer services.

Browns tax and spend-everything-we-have policy has left us in a very difficult situation.

not really,i can look at meself in the mirror.

Cashy....how many times can you count on one, or maybe two hands that someone in Spain tried to get into your back pocket? and when you returned to the UK, do you not look after your interests as a priority above all else?

.

perhaps if our tory council didnt fritter every penny they screw out of us away on trivial things like deckchairs and clowns then there would be alittle bit more money in the pot to pay decent wages

if the council arnt actualy paying for the above im pretty sure theres othe rthings the council waste thousands of our money on anyway

Andrew, I know you like to come on here and have your political banter, perhaps a wind up here and there All well and good, get on with it.

Are you really of the mind that these people who are on strike are celebrating the fact ?

No, the link is for UNISON who are clearly pleased at the disruption.

then thats a lot of people getting severely under paid and rightfully striking for better pay

Doesn't matter if I agree or not, the money aint there! Everyone would like a pay rise to help that little bit more, but the situation Brown has got us in means we're gonna have to suffer till we can elect someone else. :(

oh and camerons going to pull the extra money out his backside then is he ?

No but I certainly don't trust this tax, tax, tax government with recovering the economy! Brown rode the wave and has no idea what to do now he's at the beach.
