Bits & Bobs

[AccyMad]

Evening Telegraph has this 'article' about Stanley's 2003 FA Cup run.

I seem to remember the Bournemouth game differently. I think Paul Howarth scored the winning penalty.

I guess AI is rewriting history

Remember it well & yes you're right we won on penalties on one of the coldest nights I've ever been to a game & Paul definately scored the winner

.....very lazy reporting.....

?.I guess AI is rewriting history

Journalists have often rewritten history, but AI will now do it cheaper.
You only have to come across an article, about which you have some inside knowledge, to realise just how the main stream media have got it wrong.
Then you think, well, if the one I know about is wrong, what about all other news ?

Paul Howarth........how great to remember.......we've had so many important moments brought about by important Accrington Stanley players down the years.....and that's why its so important thatxour great little club keeps going.........

James Rogerson

I'd just like to praise James Rogerson our number 2 keeper for Tuesday's performance against Sunderland. What a brilliant young man. Some will say he let 3 goals in during the game......but what a penalty shoot out performance......exceptional in my opinion...so much confidence to take him forward into his eventual league debut at some point in the season.
