Well here we go again off to Blackpool Vic Thanks to Mez for the lift,
I had to be there for 11-45am it was 11am when i walked through the doors of BVH took me 10 mins to find the right reception area "just take a seat" i was told 11-55 i was called they gave me a card and told me to go and have a ECG then go to room 22 and wait i had the ECG then looked for room 22 at last i found it and sat down at 1-15pm i got took in and i thought i was seeing my consultant but no another doctor, he told me the two consultans had been arguing the one i see in Blackburn says i dont need a bypass the one in Blackpool says yes i do . i told him i had had three angiograms and the first one showed 2 arteries nearly blocked and one looks like a bit of string the second showed no change but the third showed only one arterie blocked he said thats what they have been arguing about one arterie is very nearly blocked alltogether and a second had a blockage but on a junction between 2 arteries and they were not sure what to do as this is a very unusual place for it to happen but they have disided on trying stents first so they are going to put 2 stents in i said ok er when, he said there is a 3 month waiting list so that takes me to the end of july.
just as i was leaving he turned to the nurse and said we might s well send him for bloods too so off to get some blood taken .
i thought i had got away with it but...
while i was doing all this Mez and Anne had gone shopping they had just dumped me at BVH
now they had planned to go to B&M bargins in cleverys how you get lost between Blackpool and Cleverlys i do not know but they did.
finally finding the place they did SOME shopping .
I gave them a call telling them i was out and would go to the hospital cafe for dinner and not to rush back .
i finished my buttie and waited outside when they came they were ready for a brew so back to the cafe we got 3 coffees and sat down i finished my coffee Mez finished hers and stuck her cardboard cup into Annes cup which was still halve full there was coffee allover the table and we made a quick exit hehe sorry mez but it was funny.
