Hi All
Does any one know if there were any lodging houses in Oswaldtwistle fro 1860 onwards. I do, now of two that were in Accrington around the 1910/30's, Harry Duffs Good Beds down Bull Bridge, and the New Model Lodging House in Pit St Acc.
Also where were the Toilets besides Dutton St, and next to the Railway arch in Blackburn Rd.
Retlaw.

) came across a lodging house in Oswaldtwistle, 20, Mill Lane. Had 27 residents at the time of record.
Did the council in those days think we women didn't need a pee.
