Hi, can anbody advise of a good organised bonfire and firework display locally this year. Have scoured the web and can't find nowt......

usually teh cricket club is a good do, not sure if its on this year or not yet, usually a couple of weeks before when teh signs go up

Enfield Cricket Club, always used to do a good un, when mine were sprogs, give em a bell, dont know if they still do.:)

They have one in the town centre too, minus the bonfire tho lol

Last year they had 107 The Bee hosting the evening

They had a Spice Girls tribute act

Firework Display from the Arndale which was really good

And other stuff too

But agree the one at Accrington Cricket Club up Thorneyholme Rd is a really well organised event, well worth a visit!

Keep a look out for notices, there are normally plenty of them
Hopefully the shows are on different days so ya could go to both!:D

Thats the Christmas Lights switch on, not bonfire night. The Dunkenhalgh used to do one. Dont know if they still do though.

Cricket Club as usual for us, that is if there is one.....i`ll ask my man in the know.

Cricket club bonfire is on again this year, November 1st, at Accrington Cricket Club, Thorneyholme Road. I will try and find out lighting time asap.:)

It was fine last year , has rained on a couple of occasions but it doesn't spoil the fun, there will be fariground rides , food and a bar. The fireworks are usually very spectacular, a really good night !:)
