I really am going through a weird time at the moment... not necessarily a bad time just weird.
I think I have come to one of those crossroads we meet during our lives and not sure which way to go... nothing has pre-empted this but I have spent quite a bit of time over the past few weeks thinking about the future as currently I seem to be stuck.. as life is just the same old, same old ... if you know what I mean...or should I say I AM JUST PLAIN BORED.
My job is not exactly exciting me anymore and I feel I am ready for a new challenge but the company I work for is a very good one so i am not prepared to just walk away from it at the moment.
My two lads are rapidly growing up, both teenagers so very much spending more and more time out with their friends especially with the nights getting lighter.
So i suppose it has left me with quite a bit of me time on my hands.. and before anyone shouts at me that they would love a lot more me time... I have been there when I would have loved more but could never find the time... now I seem to have it I seem to just be bored!!!
Crickey just realised that this is just a load of boring waffle so I must be in a bad place a the moment
Have to say did spend a great family day out yesterday, went to Knowsley safari park and yes we drove through the monkey enclosure and I nearly lost my back wiper but oh how we laughed especially when I switched the wiper on and the little baboon was trying to hold on for dear life
Today went into accy centre for a mooch around, with working in blackburn I don't get into accy much as I hate going near any shops on a saturday. Funnily enough both the lads came with me too, which made a nice change. I also collected my £12 from the observer office for being the face in the crowd in the stanley special last week. Well better in my pocket than there's!!!
I am off work till next wednesday so I'm trying to find things to fill the days that don't necessarily involve DIY work at home, which there are quite a few jobs needing to be done.
Oh well waffle over for now I think
