Bradford Thread

It was a cross in from Ryan on the right that led to the penalty, flicked into the air by Gornell and bounced inside the box hitting a defender on the arm as Putterill pressured him.

Tony Bates pointed to the spot, and Phil did the rest.

Splendid!

Can't give you any info on McConville as yet... He just trundled off looking uncomfortable. Will try to find out...

I think it's fair to say that the Bradford fans are a bit miffed with the ref.

Apparently he was part of the recent banking crisis or summat. Certainly sounded like that...

Well he arguably didnt take long to cheque whether it was a penalty, a decision which was certainly of some intrest to the Stanley faithful. Although Id bet my mortgage that a branch of the Bradford fans may have taken exception. The charge of handball was a no-brainer and youd have banked on Phil to open Stanleys account tonight.

Fair credit to Phil, he kept his cool before withdrawing back into defence.

:)

at this point in the evening Oldham are in Play-off position, aint looked back sin stanley did em.;)

Maybe they were referring to that City Gent Fella does he still wander round the ground before kick-off?
