i got a phone call from bt trying to flog me infinity a couple of months ago ... and they said id get up to 40meg .. i said if im paying for 40 then i want 40 ... not up to ... and they did a check on my line i would get 28 meg ... and i said well if im paying for 40 i want 40 and not 28 .. it didnt seem to go down very well
you barely get 1mb so someones been telling you porkies trying to sell you something they know wont work

True but mostly my homephone and broadband deal is good with O2. BT's bills always seem to turn out higher in the past, whatever deals they are doing.

AOL used to do that. They offered me 3 months free internet to stay with them

I recall in the distant past, I began a free trial period which I ended after two days.
That Wilma Flintstone lookalike that kept popping up really got on my wick.
Haven't AOL been taken over now Restless, something like Talk Talk
