Many years ago when my niece was a little girl - she aint so little anymore shes 12 - we went to the fair and ended up winning goldfish in the plural. I ended up with 2 of them and and she kept the other 2. She named mine Casper and Stinky - her favourite film at the time was Casper - now its Clic! Anyway everytime one died i bought another to replace it because she got upset anyway ended up with 3 - thought one was on the way out and got another to replace it and it lived! That meant Casper Stinky and Stretch. The only one you could tell apart was Casper because it had a white streak down its body. Anyway yesterday went to feed em - Casper was floating on the top. Mum used to like having the fish - she used to feed em - said i couldnt be depended on to feed them everyday. When she couldnt do it anymore she used to get the carers to feed them. She even got one of the carers to buy the food for them one day - because she couldnt depend on me to buy the food for them! Casper was getting old - he must have been about 6 years old. By the way my nieces fish didnt last as long as mine have and god knows where the tank went. Instead of buying a goldfish bowl it was cheaper to buy a gerbil tank and use that especially because we had 2 of them. So only have Stinky & Stretch left. Now the choice is - do i buy another to replace Casper? This is the 1st one thats died for a couple of years. Now seeing as my niece is now 12 and my mum isnt here anymore what do i do?
Ok now the pool update. I'm p****d off at the min with people. Last Thursday we played the Arden Inn and we beat em 5-4. This Thursday supposedly over Ossy at White Horse wherever that is. Lost my doubles match and it was my fault. I will admit it. Anyway Monday night we won 6-3 against Baxenden cricket club b team. I won my doubles and lost my singles. I think i'm a better doubles player - might be because my partner is normally a better player than me! We were back in the pub by 9.30 - our A team was playing the bash cricket club a team. The a team got beat 6-3! Anyway i ended up playing pool in the pub later on after we got the crowing out of the way. And i ended up playing with one of our a team members against 2 of the better a team players. I snookered one of em by managing to get the white between 2 of our balls and both of them were touching! I couldnt do that again even if you gave me a million quid! Mind you getting my own back - he says i've got a touch like a baby elephant! lol
