I have this nice recipe for Banana cake i want to make tomorrow

Makes 1 x 900g loaf
Preparation time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 40-45 minutes
2 ripe bananas (about 400g)
150g softened butter
150g soft brown sugar
300g plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
2 eggs, lightly beaten
100ml vegetable oil

The problem is i cant find a cake tin to fit the Bananas in only square or round cake tins
so anyone know where i can get a cake tin the right shape ?

er sorry but i dont have a protractor or a rule to check the angle and length of my bananas:):tongueout
anyone know the angle and length of a standard Banana ?:D

I think the only answer is to take a knife to your banana, then it should fit in an ordinary loaf/cake tin.

:D

As you suggest i took a knife to the banana but nothing happened they are still sat there next to each other doing nothing
how long does this take to work and what happens

Just take the knife and start chopping.

Do be careful though, and if you are still wearing your jim-jams it's probably safer to wear a pinny.

:eek::D
