The rumours were true.....Camelot closed down!,

It has been sold to a construction company.

When did this happen then??? I would have thought that they would have stopped advertising for somewhere if it had shut down

The theme park was purchased by Story Group, a construction company based in Carlisle and leased to Knight's Leisure who run the park. The site's future remains uncertain as the new owner is planning to redevelop the site. Current indications are that this will be a housing development.

Camelot closed a few years ago, but is now up running.

It should be replaced with a Disneyland, Camelot is RUBBISH!.

Went past this today , and all the rides i could see were up and running .

Never been before, even as a kid but today for the first time we went with some friends and.......................well what a dump, over flowing bins, run down rides,buildings in disrepair, car park was just waste ground....and for this we were charged £19 for the pleasure (even for a 5yr old) Oh and i forgot to mention the over priced junk food on offer and £2.50 to park.....luckily for us the company was great......my advice...avoid at all costs..... The place should be levelled and a nature reserve should be built in its place.........

You are right pipinfort, it's rubbish and charges you alot for crappy rides.
