CAN anyone help ????

Similar to what you said.

The Big fireworks displays tend to use either the 1812 or Handel's music for Fireworks for finales. Can't remember for certain, but sure they used the latter last year.  :)

Might be worth checking that out.

Failing that, you could try a good music shop. they'd probably know the sort of thing you're looking for and you'd be able to listen to it. you wouldn't have to buy it would you? ;D ;D

No I meant you could check which it was in the shop, get the title, then find it and download it  ;D

Sorry directdj, can't stop laughing. I'm singing my head off here, D D D D or Den Den Den, it still sounds like 1812 overture to me. In fact if you sing it slowly you can make it sound like Bolero.
It's brightened up my night, if I sing it long enough, I might actually hit on the right tune. ;D

Yup sounds like 1812 to me to Lettie. No matter which way i put my dddds still sounds like 1812.
I cant fathom the DJ out.  ::) ::)

this is the last attemt of how it goes lol... den den den den  -- den den den deeeen --- den den den ??

not funny no more doing my head in !! lol

listening to 1812 now, no its much more noisey than that, and its one of them tunes that builds higher and higher with the same notes ?
