Does anybody know how much it costs to have a small dog castrated?

Emzy......sorry to tell you this but for a straight forward castration your looking at £100+, macs wasn't so cost me a lot more..........sorry

If your on benefits it might be worth your while getting in touch with the PDSA......they'd probably help you out.

Its not my dog :D so i'm not paying lol, but thanks for that, will pass that info on

Though it was about £50 ish accroding to town and country vet place....

Fook paying £100 + he can keep his nuts for me then !!!

Do it yourself....half a bottle of cheap whisky down it's throat, a few inches of string and a Stanley Knife should do the trick; should work out less than a tenner.

my vets go off weight of dog but i think it starts at about £75.00
rspca will donate if anyone on benefits same as pdsa nearest vets for pdsa is preston

there's always the old tight elastic band technique.. trouble is you end up following the beggers around waiting for the balls to drop off :D

You folks have a good system if benefits are enough to support pets , wonder what the number breed of dog is for the long term un-employed ? bet it's not a poodle or a peke

When I enquired at Mearleys last year I was quoted £100 for a straight forward castration........as my dog had a retained testicle I had no choice but to have him done.....total cost £269.........but at least my dog is healthy. By the way he had his op at Town & Country 2 weeks ago...
