I feel in a much more positive frame of mind today, unlike yesterday's moaning Minnie entry. That's the diary trouble again. If I use this journal to record how I'm feeling at the time, people feel I must be very down all the time. It's very often not like that at all. As soon as I've put my thoughts down on cyber paper, so to speak, I can put things in perspective right away.
I got to sleep relatively early last night, by about 3 am. I awoke at nine. It did take me until noon to get out of bed, and it's a good job I didn't need a pee. I think the new drugs are the cause of this lack of morning movement, but as long as I've slept, I care not a jot.
Once I'd got going I felt grand. I had my lunch/breakfast and then my first lot of pills. After having a shower and a shave I went to Mum's. She was still at work, and because it was fine I felt fit enough to mow the lawn.
Mum had a bad fall at work yesterday, after rushing about at work. The combanation of tiled floors and flour, mixed with hot steam, makes for a lethal combination. She's black and blue but seems ok.
I'm glad to say I was better company for her today than I was on Tuesday, and we had a real laugh. We especially enjoy Come Dine with Me, followed by A Place in Greece. There's nothing better than laughing at other people's disasters to make you feel better, be it an unspicy curry or nobody turning up for your roast beef dinners in a wintry Cypriot village.
There's no football this weekend as Stanley are away, but I do have a big party on Sunday. It's my godfather's and his wife's silver wedding, and I'm really looking forward to it. It'll give me the chance to make a good impression after the dinner party I went to there last month. I found out that I did something totally embarrassing, but which thankfully his daughter found amusing. Enough said.
