The only time I ever clocked in was when I first started at Shopfitters in the 60s, when I became an out fitter it was back to the good old time sheets, clocking in cards don't tell porkiesHey, I remember well the clocking in machine at the Water Street entrance to Mastabar Beltfasteners. You got that one by any chance?

Funny thing is it was recognised that you booked 8am to 10pm every day while you were away from base, the only thing that was stamped on was flying, ie booking a nights living away allowance but being at home, if caught its was instant dismissal, no warning no second chance end of storyI blame 13 years of Jaysays timesheets.![]()

flexi time working for the police, or as it was known bending the truthI´ve never clocked in but did have to suffer flexi time when I worked for the police.
After either breaking or losing a few yellow plastic keys they gave up on me. I hated the whole thing.
