Dont forget folks, clocks go forward tonight at 1am so we lose an hour in bed tomorrow......damn!!

bst ends.............OCT 30TH.

You may lose an hour in bed. Me, I'll get up an hour later, according to the clock. ;)

Lovely long, light evenings again. Grrrrrreat! :D

That is what i am going to enjoy.the kids being able to play out longer....get them out of my hair (if i had any).

Yes a timely reminder!Incidentally when was it the government of the day experimented with leaving the clocks unaltered?
I know we had double Summertime in the War,but I seem to remember a more recent trial;only for Scottish farmers to complain.

It was either 1971 or 72, can't remember which. We lived in North Yorkshire at the time and although it was dark when the children went to school in the mornings, at least it was light when they came home.

Let Scotland have its own time if it wants. I think we should stay on British (all right English) Summer Time.

Thank you Jason, :o I have to be up early in the morning, I have just had a great night out drinking with other Accy webbers at the Stag....and two of my daughters set out (late) at 9:30 this evening to pay a visit and spend the night at my house. THEY ARE 200 MILES AWAY!!! They should arrive at around 02.00 but thanks to you, it will now be 03.00!!!! OK, You are not to blame, but I need to have a go at someone:rolleyes: :p
