Val, there were so many off the ball incidents on Saturday, the ref had totally lost control of the game. Both sides were guilty and responsible. I was surprised it ended 11 v 11. It's always the younger lads that get caught out. The senior pros (both teams) are much better at avoiding detection. It was really a very bad tempered game. If there is a better ref for the return fixture it won't re-occur. Let's hope the video shows everything and isn't edited.

Unfortunately it appears to be a matter of retaliation which never seems to go unpunished no matter how bad the foul by the opponent had been.

Cheers pifco and I have to agree with your thoughts... just hope it does not end up being too long.....

3 match ban for Connor unfortunately :( - if that joke of a ref had even a smidgen of control over the game it wouldn't have happened
