Conservative candidate named.

Andrew Barratt is 'our' Andrew no less. Jack Whalley is a student protestor from Bristol over the wind farm. Jack called me without mentioning he was a Tory over the protest. The other guy I think I know.

I think Karen would have been better advised to deliver her leaflets with activists like everyone does. Putting it in the Observer as a free flyer is lazy. People want to see you delivering them, putting the effort in.

As for Jack Whalley, recruiting anti-green protester isn't very good when the party logo is a blue going green piece of broccoli. Say one thing in public, do another in private.

That's one of the benefit of having such a youthful team, you can take advantage of the school holidays.

Though as they warn on television phone-ins, I hope they get permission from the responsible adult who pays the phone bill, before they start making unsolicited calls.

Step one was a useful tip.

Make sure they answer the phone, before going on with the scripted spiel.

Too bloody right there is no Less!

By the way I know he doesn't do questions but, andrew, why are you planning to sit on your backside and not get out there meeting the people on Kb's behalf?

Could it be that if she can't be bothered why should you?

P.S. If you do happen upon the page with my 'phone number on it save yourself the price of a call you will only get the same answer as any other party or business that uses this method of irritating me.
:)

I'm not planning to sit on my backside. Not quite sure why you'd think I would be!

Well what would you know? I had just pressed submit on my previous post and got a phone call, from my local Labour Party.

We are on the telephone preference service. Tut tut.

I originally thought it was a tele-sales call, wanting to sell me a brand new phone, due to the broken English. Perhaps they're outsourcing it, to avoid TPS.

If for once you aren't exaggerating the truth, then yes, I agree disgraceful, but, knowing your track record, just to get into the mood for Easter, like doubting Thomas I for one, would need to see some proof, if the Messiah's word wasn't good enough for him, your word is no longer good enough for me.
:)

How strange, still on line and yet unlike other days when you think you're on a winner, no immediate reply to put me in my place, if you want I'll ask one of the mod's to put a question mark at the end of the above post then you can ignore it officially.

:)

I'm not really sure how I'd 'prove' that I got a phone call..

Do an F.O.I. on your 'phone bill.
:rofl38::rofl38::rofl38::rofl38:

I did 1471 it but it was a withheld number! A friend has also had a phone call today. I'm sure Labour could just confirm they're calling people if you really need proof. :D

My friends call was from somebody that sounded local though, so I doubt they were outsourcing.

It's your 'claim', maybe you're right, I don't know, how many times have you demanded proof, (So far none put forward by the claimant, YOU), even then, you've ignored it when given, haven't you?:D

Sorry a question, see you tomorrow after your fitful sleep.
