Be nice to see some out and out width again, I've no problems with the 4-3-3 but you can't beat a tricky winger destroying the opposition and lord knows we've been blessed with a few.

"Russ....Russ will tear you apart again!!"

Remember Devitt destroying us single handedly with Grimsby. Surprised to see him loaned out to us to be honest. Welcome aboard.

Anyone who stood out for Grimsby playing against us must be good. We were their bogey side as I remember.

Think that was when the young cb from everton played, and Edwards was moved RB , in short it didn't work !!!

That Grimsby game was Jay McCarten's one and only appearance for Stanley.

Coley mustn't have given him a glowing report as he waws released by Everton shortly after returning and has played only 4 games for Aberystwyth since.

All about competition for places and having a bench with options hopefully Cokie won't be afraid to mix things up.

Devitt looked awesome when saw him last. Fast, skillfull and an eye for goal. Our defence couldnt handle him that day.

Come On Stanley

Devitt looked good and started to create as soon as he came on today

The one bright spark on an otherwise gloomy afternoon

According to Bulls News:-

"New Accrington boss Paul Cook says he will go back to his former Sligo side to sign players. The former midfielder believes the League of Ireland to be better value than signing players from English sides."
