weather... garden almost covered in snow ( well hail stones) just an hour before I had been sat out with afternoon tea....:eek::eek:

Went and got my compost today to put my plants into the containers in the yard;no chance of that happening; I would have been concussed by the hail or frozen solid and the plants wouldn't have stood a chance either !:o

i keep having to switch my heating back on.......then off because too hot not sure of the weather at all driving me insane (mind you thats not too hard with me )

Well been warm up here a splatter of rain otherwise its better weather than you are having. As for heating mine has been off for nearly two months. To think Scotland is supposed to be colder.

We went for a walk today - the geology trail at Clitheroe. Drove there, walked round the paths, sheltered under a tree during a brief shower and then carried on walking. Driving back home I was amazed to see drifts of white stuff - all we'd encountered was rain. From Rishton Papermill dip up to the Dunk looked like it had had quite a heavy fall.

we went to ramsbottom today and the amount of hail that came down there was unbelievable, we had to shelter in a pub! wot a shame!!!

listening to the news tonight - said it was the coldest test match on record - that was over headingly, leeds. so stop bitching= we had it good.:D

It snowed 23 years ago when our youngest Robert was born in June, prety heavily to, if my old memory serves me correctly, so global warming has been around a long time.
