The wedding was wonderful.
I have had a great weekend so far.
The bride looked stunning, as did the church. It was a Catholic mass, as well as the wedding service, which l found interesting. I can see this confirmed atheist eventually converting to Roman Catholicism. It's just so theatrical and glamorous with all that gold and incense, and the costumes, wow.
I met some really lovely people. Everyone was really kind to me, and friendly. It can be difficult sometimes, being single and not knowing many people at a do. Luckily I'm not shy, and enjoy chatting and meeting new people.
The party at night was wild. All the firemen from the groom's watch came over fron Manchester.
As well as the disco there was an ABBA tribute band who were really entertaining. Who was the one in the middle of the floor as they sang Dancing Queen, as everyone else stood round clapping? Yeah you guessed it!
We didn't go to bed until after four, and even then I didn't get much sleep.
A full English breakfast didn't really hold out much appeal this morning. A coffee and a cigarette, whilst sat in my room taking in the fantastic view from my room, seemed much the better option.
Best cure for a hangover though, was going to see Accrington Stanley win Canvey Island this afternoon with Harwood Red. She's a great girl, and it's nice to have made yet another good friend through Accy Web.
She's invited me to go with her to see them play at Altringham on Tuesday, so I have something else to look forward to as well.
