I have no great wish to prolong this idiotic thread longer than necessary, but sorry DAV - I seem to have missed your public explanation of how these votes were counted in. So could you repeat it please.
Let's get one thing absolutely straight. Redraine has already pointed it out to you but you seem unable to grasp this very easy FACT. There are no haters in this forum. The haters are those who carry out appalling atrocities such as we have seen last week in Paris. In this forum, opinions may differ and thankfully often do. But there are no haters. FACT.

Whether used as Nouns or Verbs, these provocative and at times hypercritical words really
should not have any place whatsoever in any thread relating to any topic whatsoever on our Forum !.
I really do despair sometimes when some who consistently outline a commitment to our Club, and take pride in the solidarity which this instills in our corporate breast, do nevertheless sink to a level where their words do little but insult and criticise others !.
Now, If this is nothing but banter then I for one don't fully understand the meaning of THIS word. What I do feel is that it does little credit to those who contribute material which is designed to injure another's reputation or character !.

Speaking as a septuagenarian bordering on octogenarian Exile, I wonder if my dismay at some of the offerings posted on our Forum comes from a non-understanding of a younger generation ?.
There comes a point however when it becomes so insulting to someone (as in the case of a recently retired Director !) that a reply seems to be totally necessary !.

Fantastic gesture from the club stewards to donate the 'prawn butties' to the care home (Fishy site report). At least some good came from Friday night's postponement. Trust Somerset doesn't think giving food away is a disgrace.

Glad to report we cancelled the stewards "early"; so no washers wasted!!
