to be honest - margaret
Having given this a little more thought since I first contributed to this thread I have to say that blood isn't always thicker than water. My late mother fell out with her sister, something which effected the whole family, the consequences being that didn't speak to my Aunt for over 20 years, and won't get the chances now because she is now no longer with us, but I am still trying to contact my cousin who lives Blackpool way and have actually been helped in my quest to find her by GC and hopefully I will be able to build bridges before its to latewell
we all heard the phrase
'blood's thicker than water' I'm sure
Really!!!! and this from one who admits to frequent lies - can you really believe she meant it?to be honest - margaret

Oh I witness people who do turn their back on their own family.
They have many reasons, all viable to them. That's how they feel.
Then I suppose there is discussion points around culture, sex and age that may affect the closeness and loyalty.
I haven't any set response and am interested to hear, listen and learn stuff.
