great pics ksh, we went to go up the empire state building a couple of years ago, but they wouldn't let us-due to not having our passports with us, we were well sick cos it was our last afternoon in new york, still thats security!! next time we will know.lol

We went to The Centrepoint AMP tower the last time we were in Sydney......the weather was what the Australians call 'ordinary'.......meaning a bit grey and overcast. I got some pics too, but they suffer from reflection off the glass.

I enjoyed the spectacular views and we went into the virtual reef ride too......your picture brings back very happy memories. Thanks!

It looks very similar to Sky Tower in Auckland. I got some pics from the observation deck at the top of that. They have some glass pannelling on the floor of the observation deck and when you walk over it, it's like there's nothing underneath you... It did nothing for my vertigo but it made Sparks laugh at the look on my face.:)

Same sort of thing but this has a glass bottomed platform that you walk out on, it was closed the day we went up though, you can see it on the left of the tower on this photo

Oooh, I definitely wouldn't be walking out onto that. There is a similar one at Sky Tower and daft people actually jump off it like a controlled bungy jump. Yikes!!!!!!:D

Now that is what picture taking should be about insiation and the ability to have people in awe at them. WOW.

Thanks for all your comments, i've another 1500 if you want to see them:)
Had to give the new camera a good testing while I was away!
