More on the protests in the capital.
I see that the loony left leaning Luvvie Emma Thompson has jetted in from Los Angeles to join this lunatic protest.
She would have turned up earlier, but it was her 60th birthday on Monday and she wanted to celebrate it with her husband.
So, the protest is not THAT important then!
She said she wanted to get arrested for her 60th birthday....bad luck Emma you missed that one.
So once the candles were blown out she boarded a JET aircraft to FLY to the UK to protest about climate change.
Wonder what that carbon footprint was for her flight.....!
Her protest would have been more credible had she used a rowing boat....but these folk want government to do something about carbon emissions as long as it does not impinge on their lifestyle.
The UK currently contributes something like 1.4% of global carbon emissions.
China has a score of 28%(some figures quote 24%).
America has a score of 15%.
Russia contributes 5%.
So these protesters should go and protest where the carbon emissions are the greatest....see if the police in China, Russia or America pussyfoot around them....smile at them, carry them delicately....join in with the carnival atmosphere....while the capital city is hog tied by these hypocrites( how did they all get to the capital? Do they drive? Do they use technology?
Do they fly on holidays? I would suggest that they all do these things....so they are hypocrites)
As for Eco warrior Emma Thompson, she is a fading actress of dubious talents (my opinion only) who wants to get attention and raise her superiority profile by virtue signalling.
She is rich....has a home in London(in a very expensive area) and a house in Los Angeles....and is incredibly thick because she cannot see the irony in her stupid actions.
