Great night at Bolton's Octogon Theatre last night with Lettie and Sparkologist. The play was Jim Cartwright's play 'Eight Miles High', set at a rock festival in Lancashire at the height of the summer of love.

An amazingly talented cast performed for three hours, acting and belting out classic loved up hits from Dylan, the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band and my fave 'White Rabbit' by Jefferson Airplane. The latter one was belted out with some gusto by the actress who played nurse Hatchette in the first series of Footballer Wive's. Oh you know the one? The one who made headlines as she rode her comatose patient like a Blackpool donkey, instead of doing the more mundane acts of nursing.

The whole auditorium was transformed into a grassy field, complete with styles, trees and Hippie vans and tents etc. We had great seats three rows back from the floor, so how l managed to nod off twice despite the great music being belted out l don't know. I managed to pull myself together despite not having slept since Monday morning, and soon was up with the rest of the audience.

Letts and Sparks are great. I was sat in the back of the car with a daft grin on my face, as we drove through the most amazingly beautiful night, thinking how lucky l was to have found Accy Web and met such great people.

We bought season tickets for the autumn/winter season. More great evenings to look forward to. :) Thanks guys, you are both really groovey. ;)

PS. Don't forget the nights are drawing in now we've had the longest night. Soon be Christmas! With that thought l'll go off to pack the Accy Web nude calenders, which make ideal gifts!!
