This year give him a night out in Amsterdam, just pay for the flight then keep your Mum busy so that she doesn't notice he's missing, THAT, he will enjoy!

All nicely wrapped up but you have a suspicion what it's going to be?

I got mine earlier today, I promise I won't open it until tomorrow, but I bet I know what it is.

The shape of it is like a box of cadburys roses, it isn't that though, I tell you now it's a box of bassetts liquorice Allsorts.
Looks like I ain't going to Amsterdam even though I haven't got a wife to upset!
