Over the last couple of days I have had to remind myself that is the bum end of February.
I went a bus ride yesterday and had to blow the dust off my sunnies.
I looked out of the window and the sun was so bright you would have sworn it was July.
However, you can't con an old bird....not that I am one but I DO know one.
I figured that this sunshine would be weak and watery....and have little warmth to it.
So I donned my tweedy(trendy tweedy in red and black) jacket.
I walked through the market...or what passes for the market, in Preston.
Heck, there were young girls(and some not so very young) with more flesh on display than all the butchers put together.
February and wearing shorts and vest tops with bare arms.
There was even one hardy young man wearing board shorts and not much else....bare feet and no vest.
I am sure it won't last....and maybe next week we will be shovelling six inches of snow off the back step.
