some parents are feckless.
Preferring to spend their money on fags booze tattoos and a questionable life style.
These are parents who cannot afford to feed their children...yet in a couple of weks we will be being regaled with tales of how these sameparents will be pulling out all the stops to buy the latest gizmo's and gadgets for their offspring for Christmas.
There was astory today in ne of the MSM papers.
All about a single mother who had two children...one of them at private school(via a bursary) and she was bleating about not being able to feed her children during the school holidays....yet she kept hens and could feed them.
It begs the question ...How does she feed her offspring at the weekend?
is the next thing going to be a lobbying of government to pay parents to feed their children at the weekend too.
I looked into this hoo-ha about providing all children between the ages of 5-16 with free school meals.
This was an initiative put forward by this government. This was Supported by Henry Dimbleby the co founder of the Leon restaurant chain...and backed by Micheal Gove
And who was it put the blocks on it?
It was the Labour opposition...so go suck on the one Marcus.
The other story that is hot at the moment is the drownings of two children while trying to cross the channel to get to the UK.
These children drowned close to the French coast so why it should be of any concern of ours is a mystery.
The people in the boat were from Afghanistan(allegedly)...so how many friendly countries had they come through in an attempt to get to the uk?
If they were true asylum seekers then they should have been happy to settle in the first country where they would be safe.
Apparently.according to news reports, they paid something like 21k to get to the UK.
I have absolutely no sympathy for parents who load their children into a dinghy to cross the English channel...epecially considering the stormy weather that has prevailed over the last few days.
If adults wish to take the risk of a watery end, then that is entirely their choice, but it is reckless to expect children to survive this kind of journey.
All because we make it just too cushy when they get here.
Cashy made a comment on my last episode about this ...so it is because of his comment I decided to write about this.
The papers said it was heart breaking...but maybe I am a heartless baggage because I do not share their bleeding heart sentiments at all.
I say Thank goodness for the Channel...i wish it were two hundred miles wider and filled with sharks.
